Step 1: Press and Hold the "Home" Button
Locate the "Home" button on the Fire tablet, which is typically located at the bottom of the screen.
Press and hold the "Home" button for a few seconds to bring up the "Recent Apps" screen.
Step 2: Tap the "X" button on each app
The "Recent Apps" screen will display all of the apps that are currently running on the tablet.
To close an app, tap the "X" button in the top-right corner of each app.
Repeat this step for all apps that are currently running on the tablet.
Step 3: Return to the Home Screen
Once all apps have been closed, you will be taken back to the home screen of the Fire tablet.
Alternatively, you can also close all apps at once by following these steps:
Step 1: Press and Hold the "Home" button
Press and hold the "Home" button on the Fire tablet to bring up the "Recent Apps" screen.
Step 2: Swipe down to reveal the "Close All" button
Swipe down on the screen to reveal the "Close All" button.
Step 3: Tap the "Close All" button
Tap the "Close All" button to close all apps that are currently running on the tablet.
Note: Some apps may not allow being closed, these apps are running in the background to ensure they can be quickly resumed.
